Q: Is GunSavvy open to the public?

A: Yes — GunSavvy is open to all customers. Whether you’re a first-time buyer, seasoned shooter, or tactical enthusiast, you can browse and purchase firearms, ammunition, and gear directly from our website. No special membership or documentation is required to place an order, making it easy and accessible for anyone looking for reliable gun products at great prices.

We’re committed to providing a secure, hassle-free shopping experience for the public — with expert support and fast shipping included.

A: When an order is batched, a label is printed and a tracking number is automatically assigned meaning, we have the package ready to process and will be shipped after processing has completed (generally about 2-6 business days BUT can take up to 10 business days). *NOTE: This does not apply for firearms/gunsmithing packages*

A: What you received is an automated response from our system. Please disregard the ‘shipped’ notification, as well as the provided tracking number. When your order is ready for shipment, we will call you before we proceed. That way, you’ll know the exact day that your order will be shipped out.

No license or paperwork is required to place an order. Just choose your firearm, checkout securely, and enjoy hassle-free service.

A: Since we are a California based company, we are unable to make base pads that add capacity to 10 round magazines. This is why we do not have a designated base pad for such magazines aside from our +0 extensions, which may be found at the following link – https://gunsavvy.site

Yes — GunSavvy offers international shipping to select countries, depending on local laws and import regulations. We work with licensed exporters to ensure all firearms, ammunition, and tactical gear are shipped legally and securely. Before placing an order, please check that the items you’re purchasing are permitted in your country and that you have the necessary import permissions.

We’re committed to making global access to quality firearms simple, safe, and compliant. For more details or to confirm shipping availability to your location, feel free to contact our support team.

A: The cant is created by this base pad not following the angle of the grip as it does with the firearms it is designed to work with.  This extension when installed, for example, on a Glock 19 magazine creates two different angles inside the magazine.  This change in angle can cause spring to not compress in a straight line which may result in loss of capacity or a malfunction.  We recommend only using Libert Firearms Innovations base pads with the magazine it has been designed for.

A: The Glock 43 base pad does not work with a grip plug installed.

Eligible products may be returned within 7 days of delivery if unused and in original packaging. Read our for full details.

Q: Does GunSavvy Innovations offer any firearms training courses?

A: Unfortunately, our range is not open to the general public at this time. We do not offer any classes or firearm training.

Q: I have a pending charge on my account, but my order did not go through. What is going on?

A: If your order does not fully process, then payment will be denied by our credit card processor. Any pending charges under our name will drop within 3-10 business days.

Q: Does GunSavvy offer pistol gunsmithing packages with a firearm all inclusive?

A: Yes, on our ‘Handguns‘page. Otherwise, you will need to send your own firearm in for gunsmithing work. All other packages with the firearm all-inclusive may be found at the following link – https://https://https://gunsavvy.site

Q: If I order parts/accessories with a gunsmith package, will I receive my product prior to receiving my firearm?

A: Yes. We will ship your parts and accessories ahead of time unless otherwise specified with an order note.

Q: Why does GunSavvy only have one shipping option?

A: Our Mail Class is Priority (2-3 days once a label is created), and all of our packages are insured. Having one shipment choice ensures that all of our customers receive only the best. For orders totaling in $170 and below, please call us for further information. (626) 509-9369.

Q: Does GunSavvy offer payment plans?

A: We require payment in full. With payment received up front, we will then be able to immediately get to work on your gunsmith package.

Q: What is your order cancellation/refund policy?

A: Customers may ask for an exchange, or a full refund will be applied as a credit to your account. If a refund is desired, there will be a credit card processing fee.

Q: I received base pads, and the coloring is different, why is that?

A: Anodizing is an imperfect process. Our color shades may vary between manufacturing batches and pictured products.

Q: Does GunSavvy sell/work on threaded barrels?

A: Unfortunately, no. We will refuse any threaded barrels for gunsmith work.

Q: Why can I not purchase GunSavvy Innovations, LLC base pads if I live in California/Washington?

A: California and Washington state law prohibits the sale of “conversions kits” and expressly includes base pads in this list. We are no longer allowed to ship magazine extensions that have the capability to take the magazine past 10 rounds to CA/WA residents, that includes LEO’s. If you are a LEO, you can send in your magazines, and we can put the base pads on your magazine(s) for you. We cannot ship the extensions separately. Additionally, we can send the base pads directly to your department. Please email Customerservice @gunsavvy.com for further information.

Q: How do I install/uninstall GA base pads?

A: Remove the original base plate from the magazine as recommended by the manufacturer. Inside the magazine you may find a plastic or metal piece or insert at the bottom of the magazine spring. Remove this insert, and do not install it with our base pads. It will result in reduced capacity and can cause malfunctions. When a magazine spring is provided with the base pad, reuse the original magazine follower and install it on the new springs.  Slide the follower and spring into the magazine body, with the follower facing the same direction as with the original spring.  Press the base pad’s retention pin down so that it protrudes only from the bottom of the base pad and is flush with surface where the base pad slides on to the magazine. With the spring depressed fully into the magazine body, slide the base pad on to the magazine body and let the spring settle into the base pad. Press the retention pin until it is flush with the bottom of the base pad, and your magazine will be ready to use.

The pin set screws are set with Loctite® at the specific tension we recommend and will generally never need an adjustment. Tightening the base pad screw is not recommended and may be difficult because the screw is set with Loctite®; trying to force the set screw to turn could result in stripping the screw. We do not warranty base pads for stripped heads on set screws or filed retaining pins.

Q: Will my extension include a spring with purchase?

A: If we manufacture a spring for the extension, a spring will be included with purchase. If a spring isn’t included, it’s because we recommend using the stock magazine spring. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us at Customerservice@GunSavvy.com

Q: Does GunSavvy offer a Military/LEO/First Responder discount?

A: Yes! GunSavvyoffers a discount on all FUTURE orders. We cannot apply a discount to orders that have already been placed. *Please ensure that you have an account set up through our website* We ask that you send in an image of a document or an ID with proof of employment/enlistment. Email credentials to Customerservice@tGunSavvy.com. Additionally, an image of your driver’s license for double verification. Please note – The only information that we need to see on the identification emailed in, are the full names shown on both forms provided.

Q: Does GunSavvy warranty a refinished magazine extension?

A: Unfortunately, GunSavvy will not warranty an altered magazine extension.

Q: Does GunSavvy accept Visa/AmEx/Etc. gift cards?

A: Unfortunately, our website will not allow the use of gift cards. American Debit/Credit cards ONLY and other payments options.

Q: Does Libert Firearms offer 10mm compatible base pads?

A: Unfortunately, at this time we do not carry 10mm compatible product.

Q: Should I use a magazine extension on my carry weapon?

A: GA is a Competition Firearms company. We thoroughly test our products to ensure reliability. However, if you want to use an after-market product on a carry or duty weapon, it is wise to thoroughly test the product BEFORE using it on duty or on your person for concealed carry.
